LR Zoo!

Thursday started super early with a car ride to Little Rock.  We dropped Jeremy off for work and headed to the zoo to meet up with some friends!

 After our fun ride we headed off to see some animals.  The three big girls all held hands without prompting.  So cute!

They had a whole new play area that was super cool.  So cool that it was hard to get the kiddos to leave!  ha!

 I am so happy we got to see the Sanders and Russells!  Lea Anna and I use to hang out like 2-3 times every single week.  I have missed that big time since moving to NWA and then Texas.  I just adore her and her two precious little girls!  I am so sad that we don't get to hang out more often.  Katie and I actually grew up in the same small town and had a habit of dating the same boys!  ha!  She is s super cool chick and we loved hanging out with her and her sweet family in NWA.  She is now in the LR area so I get to see them there now!  :)

We planned to stay the night in LR and see some friends for dinner but unfortunately plans change and we had to hit the road when J got done at 3:30.  Both girls were troopers the entire trip but the last leg home was the hardest.  We decided to go into Applebee's for dinner to break up the trip a little bit.  We all enjoyed a little time out of the car!  :)

As much as we enjoyed seeing new places and old friends...I was so ready for my own bed!  There truly is no place like home!
