Here comes Santa Claus...

We made it home from my parents with enough time to leave out some cookies and milk for Santa and carrots and water for the reindeer and tell Jukie goodbye until next year.  :(  Then about an hour later we finally got one excited girl down for the night! Santa had it pretty easy this year and didn't have to put together anything this year!  Ryne's main Santa gift was a "my twin" doll.  She also asked for the stuffed elephant she saw at Costco (that one was HARD for Santa to buy), a vet kit, and a fur real bunny.  We got her a big kite, guitar, book, and some my twin accessories.  Santa brought Reese a baby "my twin", a girlie car ramp, a tiger chair (that she went nuts for at Costco!) and a big giraffe.  We got her a Disney princess little people castle, book, tea set, and musical puzzle.
Santa was here!

First look!

Sleepy girl didn't know what to think just yet!

She was pretty excited about her doll!

bigger than her but she loves it!

Later that morning GranJan and Pops came over to eat breakfast with us and then go watch a movie.  Ryne was excited to show off her new toys!

We ate, played, watched the Christmas parade, and then headed to watch Monsters Inc.  We have it on dvd but still enjoyed watching it in the theater!  We headed home after that (Pops and GranJan went back home for their own Christmas) to play some more and just enjoy the afternoon.  Once we got home Ryne surprised me with the sweetest necklace...
She said I was her very best friend...best gift ever!
J sporting his gifts from Ryne...
The day was complete when white stuff started falling from the sky!  We didn't get much but Ryne still like running around in it and trying to catch some on her tongue.

This girl just wanted to watch!

happy snow bunny!
It was a wonderful Christmas!  We enjoyed every second of it!  There really is nothing like seeing how excited the girls got when they walked out and saw all the presents.  I hope the magic of Christmas lasts a very long time with them!
