At the car wash!
We got a rock chip on our way back from Canadian and had it filled last week. A guy came out to the house filled it and smoothed out another one and then cleaned ALL the windows and vacuumed out my entire car. I was super impressed with the service and it was much needed after 2 back to back road trips! The outside of my car was still filthy so we decided to run it through the car wash. Reese wasn't too sure about it but big sis did a great job of reassuring her. I still wouldn't say that Reese loved it, but she didn't seem to hate it either! :)
It is nice to have a clean car...for an hour at least! :)
Is it summer?!?!
I don't know what is going on with this weather but I am loving it! We spent pretty much every day last week outside. The weather has been so very pretty...you can't waste temps like that inside! We have also been enjoying sweet frog...3 times in one week! Pretty sure we need to cut back on that but it is so good! :)
exploring the trails! |
The park was pretty empty so Ryne wanted to swing in the baby swing. She was telling me "don't even think about it" in the first picture...she didn't want proof of her in a baby swing! ha! |
Funday Sunday!
Last Sunday was a perfect day! The weather was gorgeous so we had to spend some of it outside! We met Pops and GranJan for lunch (they had kept the girls that night because we had college friends in town) and then we headed home to put on play clothes for the park!
We had so much fun playing at the park even though I think everyone that lives in our town was there! :)

CCA Homecoming
We stayed in town long enough to go to CCA's homecoming. This would have been Michael's 20th reunion so they wanted to do something to remember him this year. They asked Brad to say something and he did a wonderful job. I was super stressed about being a single mommy with both kids in a very not kid-proof place but they did good! Ryne and Ava stood and watched the homecoming court come out and then they had their own dance party when the music started. Cute stuff! They got to run around on the court before the games started and they all thought they were big stuff!
We went to the balcony for the alumni reception. I only stayed for about 1/2 a game though because it got really hard to keep the girls calm and not playing on the super steep stairs! So my mom and I took them home for bed. Once they were settled in I headed back to the gym to actually visit! :)
It was so good to see some old CCA friends! Get togethers are few and far between and I loved catching up with everyone! A bunch of us ended up going back to Barbara's house (Heather's mom). They are like family to me and I loved seeing them for a little while!
When I got back to my parents house I found this little girl sacked out!
Brad's gang came over the next day to help celebrate Jonathan's birthday. I had to hit the road around 11 to get home but enjoyed spending the morning with them!
We enjoyed our week in Camden but we missed Jeremy! 5 nights is way too long!
I took all the help I could get! :) |

Wasting time in Wal-Mart...
Camden doesn't really have much for little ones to do, SO, we spent about 2 hours in Wal-Mart. I let Ryne take her time looking at every single toy! It actually ended up being a fun little afternoon!
Play date #2
After short naps we headed to our next play date. We picked CEC and that wasn't such a great pick in hindsight! The little ones were on the run and refused to let us really talk, BUT the times I did get to visit were good!
It was great to see the McNabs and Russells! We will go somewhere more contained next time though! :)
Belle! Ryne was so excited that one of her Fayetteville friend lives close to LR now! |
Sweet Dakota...I should have paid her for her help keeping up with Reese! |

LR Playdate
The girls and I decided to make a day trip to LR to see some old pals. Ryne and I both miss our friends so much and it was the perfect time to get to see some! We have been friends since before our kids were born and they have played together slept side by side in carseats since they were weeks old. We laughed because our old gang started with 7 babies...now we had seven there just between 3 moms! They just all happened to be girls on this day too!

Mallory and Reese...Reese loved the teeter-totter but it scared her when it moved?! |

fast forward 15 years! ha! |
We LOVED seeing them and had so much fun catching up. After we left I drove around so the girls would take a nap before our next play date. Since we were already in Maumelle I decided to swing by our old house. It looked the same except they still had up Christmas lights! ha!
