Reese's birthday...

Reese, I hope you forgive us in how your actual first birthday was spent.  We started the day with cleaning to get ready for the inspection that afternoon.  Then we went to your doctor appointment where you got 4 shots!  They did gush over how beautiful and sweet you are though so that helps right?!  Then we spent the rest of the day shopping and running errands because we couldn't go home because of the inspection.  After that was church (which I took you with us because no way was I leaving you on your birthday!).  You did get alot of attention at small group so maybe that made up for some of the day.  Through it all (besides the 10 seconds following your shots) you were your happy smiley self!  You seriously might be the most laid back and happy baby ever!

You did enjoy doing some test driving in Toys R Us!  :)

On a side note...our wonderful small group had a going away cake and card for us.  They are so thoughtful.  We are going to miss those sweet friends for sure!

Summer Lovin'

What is it about summer that makes you want to eat out, play outside, watch movies, get ice cream, grill out...basically act like you are on vacation?  We have been enjoying summer and living it up...well as much as you can with 2 little ones!  :)

We like to hang at our neighbors...Reese loves their water table!

We like to grab the occasional ice cream from McD's.  We won't eat their chicken but the ice cream has to be okay right?!  lol!

Ryne is kinda living in swimsuits right now!

Reese's very first taste of sweets...ice cream from the ice cream truck!  I gave her a little taste and she took over!  She screamed when I tried to take it away!  ha!

Rex and Chloe...dogs of some neighbors.  They are friendly but will still act like they are about to take your head off.  They follow us most of our walks and run up barking anytime we leave through our front door.  Ryne loves them...me?  Not so much!

Sometimes when it is really hot you just have to head inside to a good movie - like Brave!

Jump Zone!

Ryne has been asking to go to Jump Zone since we found out they have one in Bentonville. We finally made the trip and she was not disappointed! Boingo Bounce is great but Jump Zone is bigger and has bigger slides which are right up Ryne's alley! We met some friends there for some fun playtime. Reese and I even went down a few slides with big sister...it was a fun morning!

backyard summer fun!

We got to set up the pool for one last day of fun before moving.  Unfortunately we don't have enough space in our new backyard for Ryne's swingset...so we put it on Craigslist and it sold fast!  We had just enough time to let Ryne do her favorite summer backyard activity one last time.

Reese enjoyed watching but that water was way too cold for her!

The pups even enjoyed laying around soaking up some rays!  :)

Tye dye and waterpark fun!

We made tye dye shirts and had so much fun!  I let Ryne pick out the colors and design...I think she did a great job!  We made one for Reese and myself as well that all somewhat match.  Then we used up the dye on some white onesies for Reese.  They all turned out pretty cute!

We met some friends at the splashpad in Rogers.  It wasn't very hot so the kiddos actually got a little cold in the water!  Of course, not cold enough to ruin the fun!  Reese had a blast crawling around exploring everything but didn't love when she would get hit with a big spray of water!  lol!

Yep...wardrobe malfunction!  Her swimsuit was a little big!

Of course no trip to the splashpad would be complete without a visit from the ice cream truck!  :)
