Day 3 was all about the wild animals! We of course were running a bit behind…so we met my parents there! ;)
We had a super early breakfast (before the park opened), so the park was pretty much empty. So nice!
Time for breakfast! There was a huge buffet…and Reese opted for this...
The girls loved eating breakfast and waiting for their favorites to show up...
After breakfast we headed on a little safari!
We saw ALL the animals! It was nice and cool and they were all out ready to be seen.
We even found this wild one...
eeek…another one!
and some awesome grands!
Next we hit Dino land and Reese wanted to ride the Dinosaur ride. We forgot how jerky it was and she of course picked the side were the big dino roars. I hung on to her for dear life and covered her eyes when the dino popped out…we will call this a parenting fail! She did not like it and will probably never ride again! ha
Ryne loved it of course! ;)

So Ryne's very favorite ride is the Yetty - our Mount Everest. She loves it! So we took turns to let her ride as many times as she wanted.
The grands made it back (they took Reese to watch Nemo and she LOVED it) to ride it one more time with us!
Reese opted for a book break! ;)
Then it was time to leave and head to dinner at the Whispering Canyon Grill...
A lot of people rave about this place. We found it just okay. Food was good, they did a couple of fun things, and unlimited milk shakes were delicious. But it was a hassle to get there and back so I doubt we do it again.
After we got back from the hotel we hung out on the beach and then the girls swam…it was too cold for all the grown-ups!
