NEW - Reese is 7 months!

Reese is 7 months old...I can't believe how fast she is growing up!  I so wish I could slow down time, or pause it for a little bit.  I LOVE this stage with her.  I've loved every stage so far though!  :)
love this sweet smile and lone dimple!

total sweetness!

the blue eyed twins!

it kinda looks like Reese is about to deck Ryne! ha!

Reese - you are such a wonderful part of our family.  You are so sweet and full of joy.  You are one of the easiest babies ever...except in the car!  ha!  You are sleeping about 11 hours at night and eating 4 times during the day.  You have tried just about every vegetable and fruit and love sweet potatoes, squash, and any fruit the most.  Go figure!  I have to sneak the green veggies in now that you've had the sweeter stuff.  I make some of your food and just give you jars of some.  You don't show a preference to one over the other though.  I can't tell you how much I love you!  I adore everything about you and I love you sweet carefree spirit.  You are content to just sit and play and have not shown any desire to crawl...that is fine by me!  I want you to stay my little immobile baby as long as possible!  ha!
You are so very loved by Mommy, Daddy, and big sis!

Girls just want to have f-un!

Ryne is all about the fun!  This girl thrives on activities and staying busy!  She was excited to be back in KDO last week.  We also got to go to gymnastics, MOPS, CEC, and spent lots of time outside.

Pops and GranJan came in for the weekend.  We enjoyed spending the weekend with them!  Ryne got to spend some quality time with them Saturday and they went to Fun City Pizza.   She was one happy girl!  Saturday night Ryne helped me make dinner and dessert...or as she said - "special dessert"!  Of course she tried to eat all the oreos when she was suppose to be smashing them!  Who could blame her though, oreos are yummy!
There was no KDO yesterday because of MLK day.  Us girls just hung out around the house and had fun!  We played lots of games and spent some time outside.  It was beautiful but pretty windy.
Ryne loves going in the house for sell on our street.  I think she just likes to hear her echo!
We had a little issue with one of the bike peddles.  No worries though, Ryne is pretty handy!  :)
Notice the hole in her leggings...she has worn out several pairs because she loves to crawl around and slide around the house.  I don't let her wear the hole-y leggings out, but no sense in making holes in her good leggings when we are at home right!?
Reese had some fun too!  She enjoyed the watching Ryne outside as long as the wind didn't blow on her too much!  She also liked watching Ryne do gymnastics.  It is so hard to believe that she will be running around there before too long.  She is growing up so fast!  I think she might be working on some teeth.  She is constantly "chewing" on her tongue or anything she can get in her mouth.  I hope she isn't though because I will miss her gummy grin!  Oh, and nursing will probably take a turn for the worst when sharp little teeth start poking through!  ha!

Watching sissy do gymnastics!

Oddly pretty weather and weekend fun!

It has been unseasonably warm and we have been loving it!  Ryne has been able to ride her bike almost every day for the past week and she has gotten fast!
Little sis is content to hang out and watch her big sis.  It won't be long until she is running or riding right beside her!
On Friday we met our neighbors at Fun City Pizza and then went to the park with Daddy!  We let Ryne take her bike and she loved riding on the track around the park.  After riding for awhile she played and then wanted to run the track!  Once around the track is 1/2 mile.  She ran almost the whole time with just a couple stops for little breaks.  I was impressed!

Saturday was filled with parties!  We started with Cameron's 1st birthday party!  I can't believe he is already one!  The birthday boy seemed to have a good time!  I'm so glad we were able to help celebrate his first ever birthday!

Reese was happy to celebrate with her cousin!
The next stop was Dakota's 5th birthday!  She had her party at Leah's Gymnastics and Ryne loved being back were she got her gymnastic roots!  :)
Reese was pretty excited to see Mr. Myles again!  He was pretty excited to see her too and ended up planting one on her!  lol!

Reese was very curious about everything going on!  She loved watching all the kiddos running around!
Ryne was so happy to see "Kota" again!  She had so much fun helping celebrate her 5th birthday!
After Dakota's party we headed to meet the Blacks for dinner.  Of course we had to go to Sr. Tequila because really no trip to LR is complete without it!  Ryne was super excited to see Tucker again!  I love listening to their little conversations...pretty cute and comical!

It was a fun little trip!  It's always good to spend time with family and friends!

A year in review...

We didn't do anything this year for NYE.  We let Ryne stay up a little later than normal...and then watched a movie while we waited for the ball to drop.  We did get to reflect on what an eventful year we have had!  Who knew that 2011 would bring so many changes!  Not me!  We were laughing about how in denial I was about moving.  People would say they heard we were moving to NWA and I would always answer "we may be".  The funny thing is that Jeremy was working full time in NWA and we had listed our house.  I don't think it really hit me until I walked into the house on Pleasantwood and saw all our stuff boxed up.  Until then I just answered, we may be! lol!  The biggest change was welcoming our precious Reese!  That made 2011 an amazing year!

Jeremy started working in NWA January 2nd.  He had to do a couple overnights a week and on the nights he did come home he would get there late and leave early the next day.  Of course we had a lot of snow and Ryne and I were snowed in a few times without Daddy.  We enjoyed some girl time but missed the man of the house!

February was filled with house hunting and "morning" sickness.  Ryne is such a little comedian and loved to go around saying she was me and acting like she was sick!  ha!  I think God definitely used her to help me make it through some rough days of being a very sick single mommy when J was in NWA.  She is such a funny little blessing!
Jeremy hit the big 3-0 in March!  We had one last shindig at Pleasantwood - 80's Karaoke party!  After that we packed up and said goodbye to all our friends, family, home, church, and life.  It was hard, but I know everything happens for a reason and God is always in control!
I was 4ish months preggo...Jeremy is just hilarious!
April was spent just enjoying my baby girl!  I loved not having to work anymore and just getting to spend my days with Ryne!  We were park junkies and had so much fun figuring out all the fun stuff in NWA.
May was fun!  We had a last little family vacation with just the 3 of us.  Reese even got to go to her first Yankees game!
8 months!
June was filled with getting ready for Reese (no easy task when you are on bedrest!) and soaking up my time with just Ryne!  Then on June 27th we got to meet our sweet Reese!  She was so worth the rough pregnancy!  Our family feels complete!
July was all about family!  Reese felt like she had always been with us.  Ryne was an amazing big sister from the start.  We are so very blessed!
In August Ryne start KDO.  She goes 2x a week and loves it!  It was so hard to put her in after being with her all day every day since March 7th.  But it has been great!  She adores her teachers and is always excited to go.  I like being able to spend some one on one time with just Reese...and get errands done a little easier!  :)
September...oh September...I turned 30!  Enough said!  ha!
October was filled soccer, soccer, and more soccer!  We also had alot of fun going to a few different pumpkin patches and doing all kinds of fall activities.
In November my baby girl turned 4!  Yikes! When did she get so grown?!  We celebrated with a cowgirl themes party and she was in heaven!
December was so special with our two girls!  We did so many fun things and we will treasure the memories of this year forever.
It has been a crazy year full of many changes.  Every aspect of our lives changed.  But the most important thing, the only thing that matters, stayed the same.  We are still together, healthy, and happy.  We have 2 precious girls, a church we love, some great friends, and a God who is always faithful.  I can't wait to see what 2012 brings!
