Cross Church fireworks...

Cross Church put on a huge fireworks show on Sunday.  They had baptisms before at like 6 and had live music the whole time.  There were tons of food vendors and some stuff for the kids to do.  We were super impressed with how well laid out everything was. We were also really impressed by the quality/length of the show.  They did a phenomenal job!  Pops and GranJan went with us and they enjoyed the show as well!

Getting ready to go...

All smiles!

We had some time to kill once we got set up.  Ryne ran around alot and I had a hard time keeping Reese on the blanket!  Reese wants to be where her sissy is most of the time!

Sweet sisters!!!

getting closer!

It's time!

Ryne liked watching on the hill...

Some new buds came and sat by her as well...she is such a leader!  :)

Daddy joined her for a few as well...

The girls loved the show!

Happy 4th!

We went to eat at Mojitos after the party.  That was the first time for the grandparents and I think they approved!  On the way home we got to stop at a local highschool to watch some fireworks.  It was a fun evening!

Ryne wanted to sit on the sun visor...nice and cushy!  ha!

The next day we hung out around the house until it was time to go watch more fireworks!  On the way we stopped by Toys R Us so Ryne could get another stuffed snake...awesome!  Then we headed to eat at MAD Pizza before going to Cross Church Pinnacle for fireworks!
Watch out Brittany...there is another snake lover coming up!  ha!

Ryne got some fake teeth at dinner and loved tricking people!

The fireworks at CC were amazing!  They were, in my opinion, the best out of the three we saw in NWA!  I am so happy to belong (for another week at least!) to such an amazing church that reaches out to the community in so many ways.  I actually took the real camera that night so I will post those pictures later.

Reese's first ever birthday party!!

We had a great time celebrating Reese's birthday in a very low key way!  With us moving we decided to do a very small get together with family.  Here is a little glimpse of Reese's special day!

The decorations...

Since the party consisted of mainly adults...we had watermelons as party favors.  We also had goodie bags for the kids that consisted of bubbles, sidewalk chalk, watermelon air heads, watermelon sour patch kids, and a watermelon cup.
The food table

Reese's super cute cake from Rick's.

Reese and our sweet neighbor Lily!

Jimmy...such a cutie!

Sweet Cameron!
 The cake portion...
Reese didn't know what to think about everyone singing to her!

Big sis helping blow out candles!

Time to eat some cake!

J wiped some cake on her mouth!

She was just worried about getting away from the cake and to me!

You can't tell but she has a blueberry in her hand!  Beth put on  in the cake to so that she would eat it and it would at least look like she was eating her cake.  No go though...she was so weirded out by the cake that she didn't even want her favorite blue berries!

Straight in the tub!
 The presents...
Big sis close by to help open presents!

Poor girl was SO sleepy!

Silly sister thought she made a good present!

Ryne and Ava trying to open the big box!

Reese was over opening gifts about 5 minutes into it!  :)
We had such a good time visiting and celebrating our sweet little girl.  I still can't believe that she is one!  She is the sweetest little one year old and we absolutely adore her!

Reese's first ever birthday!!!

Oh my goodness I can't believe my precious baby girl is 1!!  Where did the past year go?!  Reese had a watermelon themed party so Ryne and I took her behind the house for some pictures of our sweet girl with that sweet fruit!  :)
Love those baby blues!

headbands never last for too long!

Big sister was very engrossed in bug hunts...but she smiled for one quick picture!
Reese is a busy little girl with the sweetest personality.  She loves to help "clean up" and tries her hardest to put on shirts, hats, and headbands.  She likes to try to copy words and has recently picked up on "no" and laughs when she says it!  She is cruising and can stand alone for a few seconds before losing her balance.  She has such a cute giggle and when she smiles her whole face lights up.  She started drinking whole milk and isn't a huge fan of it yet but she is loving eating what we eat!  She is now in her room in her crib...no more rock n play!  I miss having her so close but she did pretty good with the switch!  The first couple of nights were rough but she got used to laying flat and not being swaddled and now she is sleeping good again!  She was 20 lbs 2 ozs (25%) and 28 inches (25%) at her year check up.  What she lacks in stature she makes up for in sweetness!

Oh Reesie-poo...we love you more than you will ever know.  You were the missing piece of our family and I honestly could not imagine life without my sweet little blessing!  You fill our lives with so much joy and love.  I am so happy that God made you ours!
