Happy 4th of July!

We had a fantastic 4th in Canadian.  We always love going there to see family…most of which we sadly only see once a year.  This year was just as much fun as always and we loved catching up and visiting.  We got in pretty late Thursday night but were up bright and early for the parade on Friday!

The little kids waiting patiently!
 The parade is starting!

Reese got a couple suckers and a t-shirt, then was ready to go sit on the blanket again.  :)

After that it was time for the turtle races!

love these 2 girls!
After the parade and turtle races it was time for some playing at Grandmother and Grandad's house!

They brought a couple of the turtles back and all the kids loved making their own turtle races!

Reese had her first kool-aid and loved it!

After a day FULL of playing…we gave baths and got ready for fireworks!

The next morning was a little more play before we hit the road...

We had the best time and were sad to leave.  Ryne was happy to bring a new friend home though!  yikes!
As soon as we got back into town we headed to the Hunsicker's for dinner.  The girls loved hanging out with Sarah and watching a movie!

We loved grown-up conversations and a yummy dinner!

Happy 4th everyone!  I am so grateful to the men and women who give so much to protect us and to make celebrations like this possible!
