Thanksgiving...

We spent Thanksgiving with Jeremy's side of the family which meant very little driving this year...yay! We started out with a little pre-Thanksgiving fun with the Janosko bunch.  Ryne and Reese both loved playing with all their cousins.  The Woodward kids happen to have pretty much every ride on toy imaginable so they had a blast trying those out!

The next day was Thanksgiving and we spent it at Nanny's house!  I was horrible about taking any pictures because both of my girls kept me super busy!  They just thought all of Nanny's super breakable stuff was super cool!  But we did have a great Thanksgiving despite the lack of pictures!  :)  It was great seeing and spending time with family and it was even more special because Nanny wanted to host this year!

Girls trip to Nashville!

Kristen and I went to Nashville a few weekends ago.  We are both big Kris Allen fans and she found out he was playing (his last show of 2012!) there.  She mentioned us going and it sounded like fun so off we went!  Road trip...woohoo!  :)  We hit a ton of traffic on the way there and didn't get in as early as we thought.  For some reason the gps took us to a super shady neighborhood and said we had arrived at our destination!  Seriously told us to turn into a dark scary looking house!  ha!  We got it straightened out and made it downtown to where we were really staying.  :)  We checked in and about died laughing when we made it to our room.  The guy who checked us in said that they had upgraded us to the Spa suite...super nice right?!  Only what were they thinking?!?!  lol!

The next day was filled with shopping, a little sightseeing, lots of good food, and the KA show of course!

After getting stuffed on some barbecue we got ready and headed to the show.  We were surprised that Kris was opening for some girl...what?!  He played for over an hour though and was amazing as always!  We lucked out and had front row seats too!  :)

We hung around after to meet Kris.  He was super nice and laid back.  We talked for a bit and he never seemed like he was "rushing" anyone.  Maybe because we were fellow Arkansasians?  Yep, I made up that word!  :)

We got back to the hotel late and hit up their little store for the most expensive water and doritos ever!

The next morning we headed home!  It was a really fun weekend with a great friend that I don't get to see near enough!  Nashville is super cool too...I loved the downtown area and would love to go back sometime.  Maybe the next time Kris is there!  ;)

Silly willies...

I have two silly willies that take up my time.  They crack me, and each, other up! They pull things out faster than I can clean them up about 90% of the time!  Reese is actually pretty good about cleaning up after herself.  Ryne is more of a free spirit and needs lots of reminding!  ha!  They are both super fun and sweet though.  :)

Right after she let out the loudest burp followed by a sweet excuse me!  Everyone thought it was hilarious...I almost crawled under the table!

I am so far behind on the blog!  We have been busy!  Hopefully soon I will post about my girls trip, Thanksgiving week, Disney on Ice, Fayetteville guest, and my longtime bff's wedding!  It has been a bit nuts around here!

Aladdin and x-rays...

We were able to go to Jan and Ken's school last Thursday night for a play.  They put on a play just for kids as a fundraiser.  Ryne loved it!  The story line was a little different from the Aladdin that we all know and love but it was still really good.  The monkey was pretty funny!

The next morning we went to the pediatrician about Ryne's foot.  She hurt it on the carousel at the Zoo (on Tuesday) but didn't really complain about it until Wednesday while we were at GWL.  My arches were kinda hurting from walking barefoot on concrete the whole time we were there so we thought it might just be that.  I should add that she was still running around like the wild child that she is!  :)  However, when I picked her up from school on Thursday I noticed that she had started favoring it.  So we made an appointment for Friday morning.  After seeing the pediatrician we were sent over for x-rays.  I did not come prepared for such a long wait (especially while waiting for x-rays) but both girls were troopers.

We got a call about an hour after being home that her foot appears to be fine.  Yay!  She said for Ryne to take it easy and keep her foot elevated and if it still bothers her in a couple of weeks to go back in.  Yeah right that she will be taking it easy!  Ryne was pretty bummed though because she really wanted some "crunches"!  :)
