Bike rides...

We love riding around our neighborhood.  Most days we ride down to the pond but sometimes we ride to the club house to play on the little playground.  It is about a 1/2 mile there but Ryne has no trouble riding our walking/running it.  :)

Yes...Reese has on pj's with her nikes!

This things spins and Ryne loves it!

It's a nice little outing on our lazy days at home!  :)

lazy morning...

Sleepy girl...

My littlest helper.  She loves to wipe things down.  I have to keep the bathroom doors shut because she likes to get tissue paper out to dust with!  lol!

Doesn't everyone clean in their pj's and jewelry?!

the next day...

Jeremy came home!!  We decided to make him a special Valentine's dinner to celebrate a day late!  And no Valentine's dinner would be complete without a heart shaped cake!  :)
my silly little helper!

She liked that it would stand there by itself!  :)

her favorite part!
Ryne then decided it would be fun to make a menu for daddy so she worked hard on that with a little help spelling things! We printed out pictures of everything we were eating and she put them on the menu - lasagna, garlic bread, steamed broccoli and corn (because the girls will not eat corn) and cake for dessert!

I also had some help cleaning!  Reese loves when I change sheets...she thinks it is great fun to jump into the piles!

Of course Ryne had to join in on the fun!  She loves a good jumping pile!
Yes, that is a pack n play that is ALWAYS up in our room!   Reese and Ryne both sleep in my room when J is gone.   :)

We were so excited when Daddy got home!  The girls greeted him at the door and Ryne gave him the menu she made for his special dinner. :)
Reese enjoyed the special dinner too!  :)

Our Valentine's Day...

We had a pretty good Valentine's day even though Jeremy was out of town.  We started the morning with Valentine surprises for the girls.  They each had a big balloon, flowers, some candy (yogurt melts for Reese), a book, special new cups, and a bear for Reese and and Ryne's request - a dog that looks like Star that she can carry in a purse.  :)
Reese waited patiently for her breakfast of bacon and pancakes by munching on some yogurt melts!  :)
Ryne waited patiently brushing her new Star!  :)
After breakfast we got ready and took Ryne to MDO.  Then Reese and I went grocery shopping before coming home for her nap.  After that it was time to get sissy!

We hung out around the house and then got ready for our special Valentine dinner.  Pops and GranJan insisted on taking us and Nanny to dinner for Valentine's day!  I thought that was super sweet because not only was it Valentine's day but it was also their anniversary!  So I got everyone loaded up and tried to leave and my battery was completely dead!  None of my neighbors were home yet so I texted Jan and they came to my rescue!  The rest of the night was incident free and we enjoyed our dinner out.  :)
I don't know why the girls were doing this...but I got to snap a picture of Reese's very first dog ears!!

They came by the house for a few minutes after dinner to give out Valentine's presents!  My girls racked up the Valentine's gifts between us and the grandparents!  Spoiled rotten for sure!  :)

After they left I put Reese to bed and then let Ryne stay up extra late to watch a movie with me.  It ended up being a really good day but we did miss Jeremy a ton!  Oh, don't feel too bad for him though because his Valentine's night consisted of being with his co-workers in a rented out Universal Studios!  :)

more zoo fun!

We made our way back to the zoo last week.  The girls love it so much we could go weekly and they wouldn't get tired of it!  We got there earlier this time and didn't have to rush so much!  First stop was the kid area to play, ride the horse, and pet some animals.

This goat felt the need to visit with Reese!

We went into the bird area for Ryne to feed them and Reese was in heaven!  She wanted to get one so bad!

We played for awhile in the kid area.  There were a few other kiddos there but not many so it was really nice.

getting stuck in the spiderweb!

Gotta take a snack break!

Once we left the kid area we headed back to the wilds of Africa.  On the way there we stopped to feed some more birds!
This time a bird landed on Reese and she was not digging it!  I nice bird lady stuck her hand in between  the bird and Reese's head to make sure the beak didn't get her.

I remembered cash this time and Ryne got to feed the giraffes!  She was happy and the giraffes got a lettuce treat!  :)

The girls even got to pet the giraffes.  They were super sweet, like a really big dog wanting some lovin'!
pretty eyes!
Of course we had to do the carousel on the way out.  It was being serviced when we got there so we were really excited it was back open for business when we were leaving.

It was another successful zoo trip with my silly little monkeys!  :)
