Slumber party!

I constantly feel like I don't spend enough one on one time with Ryne and Reese.  We are all three together all the time and alot of time it seems like I am just playing referee!  So one night Ryne and I had a slumber party...just the two of us!  We rented a redbox movie (Puss in Boots), made some yummy "nachos", did facials, and of course giggled a lot!  We stayed up late and then slept in a tent under her bed.  It was so much fun and totally worth the sore back from sleeping on the floor!  :)

The church hunt...

We have tried several churches here but haven't settled on one yet.  We have a few more that we have heard are good and we plan to attend those before making any decisions.  We have attended a couple good ones...but they aren't CC.  We loved being a part of Cross Church in Fayetteville.  We honestly loved everything about it and felt it was where God wanted us.  Hopefully we will find the church we should belong to here soon.  Ryne has voted for the church with the indoor playground!  ha!

Little girls like to play!

Ryne has always been big on pretend play.  It is so fun to watch her with play, especially when she doesn't realize you are watching her!  I hope she always has such a big imagination!

She didn't like when I had her as the focal point and wanted me to make sure Chip and Brittany were not blurry!  ha!

A favorite game for both girls is tickle monster.  Daddy is the best tickle monster!

 This little girl has turned into quite the little monkey!  We were hanging curtains in Ryne's room and she figured out the rocking chair!

We love a good morning spent in pj's just playing!  Reese is very into accessorizing.  She loves to put on headbands and throw purses on her shoulder.  It is the cutest! Ryne and I like to build things for her little friends to play on.

With the mosquito craziness AND the heat, we spend alot of time staying busy indoors!  I am pretty ready for Fall though!

We have a walker!!!

We have actually had a walker for a few weeks.  She took a few steps on July 28th.  The day after her 13 month birthday.  :)  She is getting more and more confident and just lights up with pride.  She takes the smallest steps and you can tell she really thinks about it.  It is so cute!  It is also so different than big sis who skipped walking and went straight to running!  :)  She is still mainly crawling/scooting because she is super fast that way!  Her poor legs get so beat up dragging on the floor so we have been keeping her in baby legs and socks or tights even though it is summer time.  Gotta protect those sweet little legs though!  :)

Ryne is still loving her boots.  She is quick to correct you if your call them cowBOY boots because they are cowGIRL boots.  :)  Either way she looks cute in them!  :)

Winter anyone?!

I think this little girl is gearing up for winter! Since it hasn't dropped below like 95 that may be wishful thinking. :) She borrowed some of Reese's baby legs to keep her legs warm. She had to be nice and toasty!

Bath for one...

Oh this girl is SO silly! She loves the bath and just laughs and plays! She might even like it more when she has it to herself! No fighting over toys! :) Her favorite thing to do in the tub is to play peek-a-boo with the shower curtain. I adore this age!
