Magic Kingdom here we come!

 We got to DW early enough to go ahead and go to one of the parks.  We picked Magic Kingdom because isn't that the only way to start?!  The girls had fun playing on the letters while we waited on our bus!

Okay, so we all did!  :)

After a short bus ride we were there!  Let the Memories begin!  :)

 As soon as we walked in a parade started.  What great luck!  Even better a photographer was close by and snapped pics of my sweet girls the entire time!  I LOVE that he captured some precious shots of them seeing all the magic....Reese's very first time!  We actually tried to tip him later but he wouldn't accept it.  I'm pretty sure that is against DW policy but I wish we could have!

 After the parade passed we asked him to do the traditional family shot...

 And then the parade came back through, so we watched again and he snapped away again!  :)

 After that it was time to find some rides!  With of course stopping to see some stars along the way!

 It started raining...but no worries, this momma was prepared with rain jackets for the group!  :)

 The rain didn't last long but while it was going we took turns riding Space Mountain.  Ryne rode it with J and me first and loved it!  Then we switched with Pops and Gran Jan and she didn't like it as much the second time.  She didn't hate it but I don't think her tummy had settled from the first ride.  :)  By then the rain had stopped!

The Dumbo ride has been improved since we were there last...there are now two and a super fun waiting area!  We had no wait at all but walked through it and they will actually page you when it's time for you to get back in line so you can let your kids play while waiting!  Who knew Dumbo was that popular!  It was a huge hit with Reese...I mean huge!  So lit up and laughed the whole time and then wanted more when it was over.  So, Jeremy took her right back through while Ryne and I went to do a little roller coaster.  :)

We headed to the Winnie the Pooh ride next and they had re-done that too!  They had some stuff for the kids to do while waiting which is always nice.  

 We did some other rides before going to watch the night parade...

 Then we did a couple more rides before claiming a spot for fireworks.  Reese had fallen asleep by this time and didn't even wake up with the loud bangs!  Ryne and I enjoyed snuggling a bit!

After that we headed to the bus to get back to our hotel.  It was a super long but fun day!  

We're going to Disney World!!

We decided to keep the trip to DW a secret until right before we left for the airport.  Partly because we knew that Ryne would drive us crazy with "how many more days" if we told her in advance, but also because I mean seriously how fun!  We headed to a hotel by the airport the night before we left and just told Ryne that we were tagging along with Daddy on his trip.  She didn't think a thing about it.  :)  The next morning we woke them up and gave Ryne the big news!  She was SO excited!  Reese didn't know what all the fuss was about and just wanted to go back to sleep!  ha!

After getting ready to go we headed down for a quick breakfast before catching the shuttle.  That was when Ryne got surprise #2!  Pops and Gran Jan were coming along!  We all got on the shuttle and headed to the airport.  Both girls thought the shuttle was super fun and Ryne even said it was her favorite thing about DW so far!  ha!

 We had an interesting time getting through security because they wanted Reese to stand by herself in the scanner with her feet basically in the splits and holding her arms above her head...yeah, that didn't happen!  Everyone around was like seriously??!  She's a baby!  ha!  So I had to wait forever with her while they opened up the old metal detector thing for us to go through.  Once we made it through the girls had to check out the planes!  Ryne was so excited and was trying to explain everything to Reese...so sweet!

 Reese kept dropping her little Minnie and Mickey just so she could get down and get them!  Little stinker!

 Both girls did amazing!  Reese fell asleep shortly after take off and Ryne just hung out watching the Ipad with some snacks.  Easy flight!

Once we landed we sat for awhile before we could get off so she made fast friends with a guy sitting behind her.  She talked to him non stop for about 15 minutes and he could not have been any nicer.  He ended up being a dancer on the main stage (castle) in Magic Kingdom so he gave us some good tips!  Once the plane turned off she saw Pops and Gran Jan and loudly yelled 5 rows back "I made a new friend"!  ha!  Love my little social butterfly!  :)

Next up was the magical express...getting closer!

Reese isn't too sure about riding without a carseat but she warmed up to it!

Then we made it to our hotel!  Yay!  Reese was super excited because Mickey Mouse had left us a message on the phone!  She could have listened to it 100 times!  

Ryne was just happy to be there!

The week before Disney...

About a month ago I started recording Mickey Mouse Clubhouse for Reese.  She loves Minnie!  Really all of them but Minnie is especially close to her heart.  Ryne picked out a Mickey and Minnie on her very first trip to Disney.  Reese keeps trying to claim them as hers!  I know one souvenir we will for sure be buying while we are there!  :)

Ryne was sweet and let Reese sleep with her Minnie and Mickey one night.  She did not want to give them up the next day and even held on tight during her morning diaper change!

When Daddy is gone both girls sleep in my room.  Ryne sleeps in my bed and Reese sleeps in the pack n play.  Reese starts out in her bed because I don't think she would just lay down in the pack n play and go to sleep as well as she does in her own bed.  She woke up before 6am so I put her in bed with us and she slept great until almost 8!  Ryne ended up waking her up but it was time anyways.  :)

Reese is starting to be a little drama queen when she doesn't get her way!  She was trying to get outside and I wouldn't let her so this happened...

We do this at least an hour every single day.  Girl loves pretend with little animals!

Reese climbed up in sissy's bed while we were playing.  I guess she was ready for nap!

Ryne and Reese were playing in Reese's room while I was folding/putting up clothes.  Ryne came and told me that she had put Reese down for her nap.  This is what I found...

big sis was super proud of herself!  She has even done it once more since then.  Now if only she could change diapers!  lol!

Tea party fun!

We had a busy week with Daddy being gone, soccer practices, KDO, and lots of running around to get ready for Disney World!!  It was a total surprise for Ryne and I will share all the details later.  :)
