Christmas cuties!

Leading up to Christmas...

We stayed busy getting ready for Christmas and having a lot of fun!

Then we started all the Christmas traveling!  More on that later!

Ice days fun inside...

We spent our iced in days by playing outside, drinking hot chocolate, taking lots of warm bubble baths, playing games, watching movies, and doing lots of crafts!

We were happy to break out on day 2 for dinner at CFA.  Jeremy and I let the girls play while we ate in peace!  Then we let them eat theirs in the car while we did a quick run through some lights before we headed back home to beat the re-freeze!  It was a much needed break from the house.  :)

Snow day fun!

 Snow isn't the right term…more like freezing cold ice day!  But no school and the girls had fun crunching around the yard!

I could only handle about 10 minutes at a time.  Way to cold for me!  The girls would have stayed out there all day though!  Thankfully, I had plenty of crafts and fun stuff inside to persuade them back in before we all turned into icicles!

Thanksgiving weekend...

Our Thanksgiving was kinda a bust this year!  Poor J started getting sick Wednesday night and after a rough night for him and not being able to hold anything down for more than 12 hours, we had to cancel our travel plans. We ended up having a pretty lazy/pitiful day!  

There were a few bright spots…first, this creamer in delicious in pumpkin spice coffee!

The girls and I had a whole day of fun!

We had the makings of Monkey Bread on hand…yummy!

By Friday J was feeling about 90%, so we put up Christmas decorations…goodbye Fall, Hello Christmas!

back to reality...

We were thrown right back in our normal routine.  SO rude!  lol!

We picked up a Starbucks gift card to let Ryne's teacher know how much we appreciate her!

Ryne wore some of her cute new birthday outfits!

I made this for dinner one night…Ryne whined and complained for about 10 minutes that she didn't like it (she had never tried it!) and then finally ate a bite and said "sorry for doubting you Mommy"!  I need to remember that and remind her of when she gets older!

We went to see Frozen…super cute!!!  Reese napped during it.  Yes, she has a paci in her mouth.  After numerous nights of it taking 2+ hours to get her down at night and naps just not happening we decided to let her have it at naps and bedtime.  We will try that again in a year or so.  :)

All the dogs got baths.  This is my least favorite chore!  I think Belle agrees!
