Freeport Bahamas

I think we have learned our lesson about excursions...do them!  lol!  We couldn't really find anything to do in Freeport so we decided we would just wander around on our own.  We walked through all the little shops of crap souvenirs and then found a casino.  They were giving $10 play credit for new members so we signed up and played some free slots.  Jeremy actually won $75 on his last spin.  Go J!

We actually got back on the boat with enough time to work-out before getting ready for dinner!  I was enjoying the sauna after my run when a worker busted in to fix something.  I don't know who was more flustered, me or him!  Thankfully I was completely covered by my towel or that would have been really embarrassing!

We headed to the comedy club after dinner.  We actually watched 2 comedians there before going to the main show.  I have to say the shows were much better than usual.  We enjoyed all the shows and all the comedians we watched in the comedy club.  Plenty to choose from!

Key West

The first stop of the cruise was Key West, Fl.  We decided to do an extreme boat ride.  I kinda wish we would have parasailed instead but the boat ride was fun, even though we got soaked!  The driver was nice enough to pick us to sit in front.  He failed to tell us that was where most of the water would land though!  lol!

After the boat ride we headed to the main strip to walk around and have lunch at Margaritaville.  Love that place!  We actually met a couple from Bryant and chatted with them for a bit.  They didn't know any names we threw out but they were quite a bit younger than us.  We are getting old!  lol!

After lunch we did a little shopping and then headed back to the boat.  Of course we had to jump on a couple photo ops!  :)

We couldn't wait to do facetime with our girls and called them up as soon as we got back.  Seeing their sweet faces totally made my day but of course made me cry too!

First day at sea and formal night...

 We didn't really do anything our first day at sea.  We slept in, did a little reading on the balcony, people watched, and of course we did FaceTime!  I completely lost it seeing the girls and had to get up and walk away for a minute.  After I composed myself it was good talking to Ryne and seeing them.  That night was formal night so we cleaned up for a fun night on the boat!

No more tears!

I am doing my best to just be super excited about the cruise! Jeremy and I don't get to see alot of each other lately so it will be fun to hang out just the two of us. So for now I am saying no more tears...at least until I see a cute kid that reminds me of mine or remember something one of them said or did. :)

Leaving two huge pieces of my heart behind...

It is cruise day for Jeremy and I. I am looking forward to the alone time but so very sad to be leaving my girls for the week. I got up early this morning because I wanted to be completely packed and ready before the girls got up. Reese finally woke up about 6:45 and I was so happy! I held her and rocked her and just bawled! I have never left her for more than a couple of hours and a week seems like such a very long time! And Ryne...I am going to miss that girl so much! I asked her who was going to make me laugh while I was gone and she said we would just have to make videos of her being silly! :) I am already missing them both and have cried off and on all day including standing in line waiting to get on the boat! Jeremy just might throw me off the boat if I don't quit pointing out all the cute kids. I'm just missing my girls so much! I know they are in good hands though. :)

I left the girls with presents for each day. Ryne was super excited about that. She might want us to go away more often! Lol!

She's going to be a soccer player!

Ryne had her second soccer game today.  Pops, GranJan, Poppi, and GranDi were all able to make it so there were plenty of people to cheer her on!  She had a good game!  The highlight was probably when she stole the ball close to the other teams goal, turned it around, dribbled all the way down the field to score.  Go Ryne!

Ryne and I decided it was time for a GNO!  We started the night with pedicures, then went to dinner at a local Italian place, dessert at Sweet Frog, ran to Wal-Mart for a few things, came home for facials and a movie followed by a sleep-over under her bed.  Fun night with my big girl!

Ryne finished up her pedicure before me and was sitting on the couch waiting.  She was chatting with a lady and I overheard her telling her..."We are having a Ryne and Mommy night.  My name is Ryne and that is Meagan-Marie (pointing at me) but I call her mommy"!  Everyone around just started laughing!

It was a great night with my first girl!
