Chinese New Year

We got all in the Chinese New Year spirit with our cute little China man!
I mean China should be celebrated just for making this precious boy!

We spent the morning being crafty...

Then we were ready to celebrate!

The kids (and some grown-ups) enjoyed making dragons...

and of course poppers for the win!

The red envelopes are such a big part of Chinese tradition...the kids were fans!

We kept the fun going for a little while longer because the kiddos were loving the decorations.

What a fun night/weekend celebrating Jeter's heritage!

Date Day/Night...

We asked Pops and GranJan to watch the kiddos for us so we could have night away.  They were happy to have them so we drove to the Ranch on Friday night.  The next morning we visited the horses...

Then said our goodbyes and headed to look at some tiny houses!  We had fun walking around and talking "what ifs" and "we coulds".

Then it was back to Conroe to meet up with the Fickeys for a fun night out!  Jeremy's date card...
so that was our first stop!  We made it out and had a blast doing it!
Next stop...Top Golf.  It was a first time for me and it was so fun!

On the way out Katie gave us a little lesson on how to show a pig!  ha!
After that we went to the movies.  I mean we crammed in so much and had a blast!

The next morning we got up and drove 1/2 way to meet Pops and GranJan for lunch and bring our crazies back home.  It was a much needed little break but always good to have my little people back! ;)

Two favs...

We have several places that we seem to frequent.  One...CEC!  My kids just love it and have a blast.  It's not my favorite, but seeing how happy they are totally makes it worth the trip!

Another favorite for Reese and Jeter is Agi.  It's an Asian style play place that also has breakfast/lunch options...and a coffee bar.  Yes please!  ;)

It's become a weekly hangout for my littles!  And if they are happy...I'm happy!  ;)
