Texas State Fair!

We had so much fun at the Texas State Fair.  Pops and GranJan were able to score us some passes so we all made a day of it!  Ryne had so much fun and Reese really enjoyed the few things she got to do.  :)  We ate fair food, rode rides, went through fun houses, visited the petting zoo, watched a bird show, played games, and just had a really good time!  The only bummer was that the ferris wheel wasn't running.  :(

They had donuts with Dad (Daddy to Ryne!) a couple weeks ago. Jeremy planned his week so that he would be in town to take her to school. She LOVED showing her Daddy around!

One day Reese and I were hanging out at home while Ryne was at MDO. I asked her if she wanted to go pick up Sissy and she grabbed her blanket and pacie and headed for the door! She was ready to pick her up! I love my girls!

Unfortunately even having an adorable fan like this didn't help the Yanks this year. Next year will be better! ;)

Weekend with the Sanders!

The Sanders came for a visit last weekend and we loved having them here!  We started the weekend out with some pizza and lots of play time for the kiddos!

The next day we headed to LegoLand for some fun! It was a gross day and we all got drenched just trying to make it in the mall!  But the girls had fun there and that made it worth the inconvenience of the rain.

Everyone was pretty much frozen from the rain when we got home so we made frito pies, banana pudding, and let the girls decorate cookies before putting them to bed.

Reese was so out of it!  She never sleeps on her back but she was out cold!

The next morning they had to go home.  :(  We had so much fun with them!  The girls enjoyed playing and we enjoyed staying up way too late talking and catching up!  When they were pulling away Ryne yelled "come back soon"...hopefully they will!  :)

Last days of summer...

It won't be long before we won't be able to go outside in our pj's and enjoy the spontaneous dunk in the pool!  We also won't be able to throw on clothes and head to the park right after the dip in the pool.  Gotta get in lots of outside play time before it gets too cold right?!  :)
